The toasted, cheese-crusted tortilla on my burrito was an unexpected delight! It was perfectly crispy with amazing flavor. Katie herself is warm and welcoming. I enjoyed reading her story about being a former teacher who is now following her dream of running a taco truck in the Badlands. Highly recommend stopping by!

One of the best burritos I’ve ever had! Katie is so kind and incredible at what she does. The iced caramel macchiato was a fun surprise. It’s a good thing I’m not local, because I’d come here far too often!

This is a gem! In a place where it can be hard to find any good much less great food this experience was an amazing one! Owner is precious. Food is amazing. Right outside Bandlands National Park. If you’re in the area go here!

We stayed at Cedar Pass Lodge and made a trip to get our food from Katie’s! It’s a cute taco truck. The food was great and the service was wonderful. You can eat there but we had ours to go to catch the sunset! We had pulled pork taco combo, cheese and bean burrito, and key lime pie. All were fresh and super tasty. The price was reasonable and it included tax!

The food here was amazing! The tacos were delicious and the loaded nachos were very tasty as well. The owner was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We had the best tacos in the badlands! Katie's Kantina does not disappoint. Fresh quality ingredients with great flavor. Even the beans and rice were delicious. Would highly recommend everything we ordered including a beef burrito as well as cheese crusted beef and chicken tacos. We also got the birria tacos which were on special and they were incredible. Cold coke products to drink and we grabbed a few beers from the gas station across the street to enjoy with our tacos. If you are visiting the badlands stop in at Katie's, it will be the best decision you've made that day!

One of only three food places serving visitors to the Badlands National Park. Katie is delightful and her food is even better. Tacos is her specialty and they are cheese covered and they are amazing. I’ve included a bunch of pictures. My favorite was the chicken, my wife’s was the pulled pork. The beef was also tasty. The surprise hit was the Chickles! These are melted cheese on the grill folded onto cut pickles and they are cut and served. Katie is an expert and it shows. No sauce needed, but she offers a buttermilk dressing with them. Highly recommended!

Fantastic lunch. Seriously good tacos - the seasoned beef was just perfect. Katie and her story were also delightful! Will be back a few more times on our trip to the Badlands National Park!
